He’s figuring out his past, which could end his future!

Love your Bourne?  So do we, and we know you want tix to the Baltimore screening, so here’s what you need to do, and not do!

You guys know we love selfies, and this promo is no exception.  We’re keeping this one simple, just post a selfie to the Facebook feed for this movie promotion, and add the hashtag #bourne.  We’re looking for your best and bravest disguises, your super-spy hero shots,  or even you on the scene in some exotic locale that only a world-famous spy would go to.  And if you’re brave enough,  show us your firearm love (no we don’t want you shooting anyone), just you and your favorite sidearm showing us how Bourne like you can be.  Post your images to our Facebook feed for this movie screening post (DON’T FORGET THE HASHTAG!).  The more imaginative the picture, the more likely you are to be voted for by the writers of GeekForE!  If we ‘like‘ your post on Facebook, then your name will be on our RSVP list at the theater door (your admission is for you and one guest). The contest runs from now until SUN 07.24.16 @ 9PM EST.  You can post as many entries as you like, but you can only win once. All winners will be notified via Facebook so be sure that we can ‘message’ you (and check your SPAM/OTHER box).  This screening is at Cinemark  Egyptian 24 @ Arundel Mills Mall @ 7:30PM on TUE 07.26.16.  GeekForE will begin voting/LIKE’s on MON 07.18.16 so you have plenty of time to post, and Photoshop to your hearts content.

FINE PRINT RULES:

1) Please do not post messages to this web page asking for tickets.  In order to win, you need to post an image to our Facebook feed (GeekForE!).  Also, if we cannot message you on Facebook, we can’t alert you to winning.  In fact there have been readers we’ve skipped over voting for in the past because we don’t have the option to ‘message’ them.  You must open that security in your settings and we are not Facebook Admins to show you how.

2) No substitutions or requests to change your RSVP name.  We are not a hostess at the local theater.  If you win and choose not to go, we understand.  You aren’t hurting our feelings, nor will we desperately seek to fill your spot.  We also won’t swap your name for a buddy because you can’t make it.  Don’t ask, it won’t be answered.

3) Your RSVP listing does not guarantee your seat.  Arrive early, very early as always!  When the theater is full, it is full and you will be turned away regardless of how cool you are.  Wait in line at the theater entrance door, when you reach the entrance, a studio rep will be there with our GeekForE RSVP list, just confirm your name.

A classic is re-released

When “The Iron Giant” arrived in theaters in 1999, it was hailed as an “instant classic” by Joe Morgenstern of The Wall Street Journal, and the world soon learned another giant had arrived as well: filmmaker Brad Bird, who made his stunning directorial debut with this film and has gone on to win two Oscars, as well as worldwide acclaim for his work on both animated and live-action features.  Winner of nine Annie Awards, “The Iron Giant” is being re-mastered and enhanced with two all-new scenes.

The film takes place in October of 1957, when America had plenty to be worried about.  Rock ’n’ roll.   Television.  The bomb.  And on the fourth day of that month, the Soviets successfully launched the first man made satellite, Sputnik, into orbit.  The space race had officially begun.  The Cold War just got colder.  People were unsure about their neighbors, even questioning their friends.

MOVIE SCREENING: Trainwreck (TUE 07.14.15 @ 7:30PM)

Amy Schumer is a force to be reckoned with as she headlines her first big comedy alongside comic greats Bill Hader (Saturday Night Live), Brie Wilson, Tilda Swinton and featuring famed director Judd Apatow.

Since she was a little girl, it’s been drilled into Amy’s (Schumer) head by her rascal of a dad (Colin Quinn) that monogamy isn’t realistic.  Now a magazine writer, Amy lives by that credo—enjoying what she feels is an uninhibited life free from stifling, boring romantic commitment—but in actuality, she’s kind of in a rut.  When she finds herself starting to fall for the subject of the new article she’s writing, a charming and successful sports doctor named Aaron Conners (Bill Hader), Amy starts to wonder if other grown-ups, including this guy who really seems to like her, might be on to something.

Amy’s standup comic genius and unabashed love of her free-flowing sexuality and pension for drinking will be on full display.  Want a set of seats for 2 to the Baltimore screening of this hot new comedy? Check the details below the banner.
